At Oasis Berco, we are committed to reducing our impact on the environment by manufacturing our products using recyclable and sustainable materials when viable and acceptable to our customers.

Unlike many of its competitors, Oasis Berco products are made in the US, largely from US materials, reducing the carbon emissions associated with transportation throughout the manufacturing and distribution process.

Oasis Berco uses wood as its primary component. Wood is 100% natural, renewable, biodegradable, and carbon negative. The wood used in Oasis Berco products is purchased from known, legal, and well-managed sustainable forests. Certificates available upon request.

Glass is another key component of many Oasis Berco units (Office Phone Booths and Privacy Pods). Glass is made from readily-available domestic materials, including sand, soda ash, limestone, and “cullet,” the industry term for furnace-ready recycled glass.

All laminates used in the production of Oasis Berco units and work surfaces have GreenGuard certification.

The acoustic fleece ceiling material used in Oasis Phone Booths, Pods, and Booths is manufactured in a zero-waste process from recycled materials.

Oasis Berco products are free from perfluorinated compounds. Only trace amounts of formaldehyde can be found in particle board, plywood, and laminate. Certificates available upon request.

The aluminum used in Oasis Linear products is 100% recyclable. We recycle all aluminum scrap.

Paints used in powder coating are certified to be of low VOC content. They emit no hazardous air pollutants (HAP), or noxious fumes when exposed to fire NFPA 704 Health = 1, Fire =1, Reactivity =0. Negative-impact materials used in finishing products are collected appropriately and turned over to environmental professionals who safely and effectively handle their disposal or reuse.

The corrugated cardboard material and containers used in packaging and transporting our Acoustic Phone Booths, Pods, and Hubs, are made with a minimum of 35% recycled material.

We make efforts to ensure similar standards of care for the environment on the part of our vendor partners.
